The International Communications Department continuously conducts negotiations with international organizations registered in Armenia, as well as foreign universities and research centers, in line with YSTFI's activities. It organizes visits by foreign specialists and delegations and facilitates the participation of YSTFI's academic and administrative staff and students in international competitions, festivals and exchange programs. Furthermore, the department assists with processing of necessary documents and visa arrangements, supports the lodging of our representatives abroad and arranges accommodation of foreign guests in Armenia.

Since 2018, YSTFI has been participating in the Erasmus+ mobility program in collaboration with the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Ireland, and the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia.

The department is constantly working on obtaining grants and participating in international mobility programs. Moreover, it collaborates with various art universities and festivals. Since 2014, YSTFI has been a member of the UNESCO Network for Higher Education in the Performing Arts.

YSTFI is currently extensively engaged in international programs. The department expands the scope of collaborations with international partners year by year.
