HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

The Human Resources Department performs the following functions:

  1. organizes, coordinates and conducts the distribution of duties and functions;
  2. defines the goals and objectives within the fields of personnel and labour relations management and their interconnection with other areas of the institute's activities;
  3. plans, leads and coordinates the institute's activities related to personnel matters and labour relations;
  4. in collaboration with the heads of the structural divisions, they participate in decision-making processes concerning the recruitment, transfer, promotion, demotion, awarding, disciplinary sanctions and the termination of employment contracts;
  5. organises the management of employees' personal files and other personnel documents, ensuring that hired individuals are made aware of the terms of employment, the collective agreement, internal disciplinary rules and other regulations governing their work environment, through their signature;
  6. ensures the protection and use of the institute's employees' personal data in accordance with the established procedures;
  7. prepares draft orders and employment contracts related to the recruitment, dismissal, transfer, remuneration, disciplinary sanctions, business trips and personnel registration of the institute's employees, based on the documents serving as the basis for the order.
