AFTER ONLINE ADMISSION APPLICATION, THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED

Information about applicants' acceptance documents

Dear applicants, after online admission application, please submit the following documents by May 10th to the institute:

  1. Four photos (size 3x4 cm);

  2. Copies of your passport / ID and Social security card;

  3. Receipt for the examination fee (3000 AMD);

  4. For graduates of previous years, the original and a copy of the graduation document (certificate, diploma);

  5. A copy of the Military Service Enlistment Certificate or Service Booklet.

According to the 2024 admission programs, applicants of professional educational programs such as "Directing", "Film Arts", "Cinematography", "Theatre, Cinema and Television Art Direction", "Scriptwriting and Dramaturgy", "Art Theory, History and Management" must also submit the required additional works along with their documents.

Directing: The applicant must submit a directorial analysis of a play with their documents.

Film Arts: The applicant must submit a portfolio of the following authored works:

  1. an autobiography in free form, reflecting on their creative activities and reasons for choosing this profession,

  2. a story based on a real-life material familiar to the applicant (an incident from life that the applicant witnessed or participated in), presented with detailed and vivid narration of the episodes (up to 3 pages, typed, A4 paper, font size 12),

  3. a photo series on one common theme in the form of an album, consisting of 10 -20 photos. Photo size: 15x20 cm.

The applicant may also submit a video film (3 - 8 minutes, DVD) or other authored creative works.

Animation Film Directing: The applicant must additionally submit paintings, drawings, sculptures or photographs of these works.

Cinematography: The applicant must submit a photography album containing 20 photos (size 15x20 cm) including landscapes, portraits, still-life, etc.

Theatre, Cinema and Television Art Direction: The applicant must submit drawings, color paintings and compositional works (at least two of each).

Scriptwriting and Dramaturgy: The applicant must submit a literary work (short story, novella, literary etude, essay) along with their documents.

Arts Theory, History and Management: The applicant must submit an autobiography (free-form information regarding age, citizenship, education, knowledge of foreign languages, marital status, work experience, as well as justification for the choice of profession and ideas for future independent work) and a concept for a cultural event project (the applicant outlines the approximate content, justifying the choice of topic, presenting methods for creative, production, financial and organizational implementation, the proposed working creative team and suggesting forms and methods of advertising). The volume: 3-5 pages, typed.
